Where we are

Our website concentrates on the Planargia area of North West Sardinia, that being said much of the information you will find is relevant to all of Sardinia. The Planargia area centres on the beautiful town of Bosa and encompasses many smaller villages set in a landscape of hills and valleys. The area has some stunning beaches and amazing coastal scenery.

A few kilometres North of Bosa you can find one of the few colonies of Griffin Vultures remaining in Europe, these huge birds can be easily seen from the coastal road circling high above.

The high hills of Planargia inland from the coast are mainly as they were hundreds of years ago being used almost exclusively for sheep farming. The whole area is a window into the old Mediterranean way of life that has all but disappeared elsewhere.
